• BOUNCE, an Edinburgh networking group for businesspeople asked us to perform at their summer barbeque event at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Edinburgh last night and we were delighted to sing for them in the evening sun.

  • What a fabulous day! Our guys sang a gutsy set at Teviot Row House after marching from Holyrood park to Bristo Square for Edinburgh's annual Pride Scotia event. It was great to meet so many of you, either from our flyering for our upcoming concert and open evening, or networking with other LGBT groups... over a cold pint or two, admittedly.

  • The Gay Outdoor Club asked EGMC to sing at their annual gathering in Comrie, Perthshire this year and we were delighted to be involved. Our audience were warm and receptive to our dulcit tones and our own version of The Happy Wanderer with GOC overtones was a particular favourite!

  • EGMC at the Out Of The Blue, Drill Hall

Scottish Adoption invited EGMC along to their LGBT information evening to open proceedings, performing four of our favourite numbers. Out Of The Blue at the Drill Hall on Dalmeny Street, Edinburgh has great acoustics and our guys certainly know how to belt out a tune! We were well received and are proud to support this important charity.

  • EGMC with Sanjeev Kohli

A dedicated band of EGMC'ers turned up to BBC Radio Scotland's Edinburgh studios at Holyrood as guest musicians for Sanjeev Kohli's Christmassy take on the Culture Studio. Singing a selection of traditional Christmas numbers, EGMC's Duncan Reddish and Steven Wren took to the microphone to speak to Sanjeev about what the Chorus had been up to since we were last on air on the show.

  • EGMC performing at Glasgow University

Fresh from a highly successful night at the Church Hill Theatre, Edinburgh for the EGMC winter concert 2013, "What's In A Name?", our men headed west in our very own Priscilla-style tour bus to reprise the show for a new, Glasgow audience. Waverley Care hosted us at Glasgow University Union and we were thrilled to be able to raise even more money for this important charity.

  • EGMC sing at winter concert

Our men performed to a packed house tonight for sixth winter concert What's In A Name at the Church Hill Theatre, Edinburgh. Comprising modern hits, old favourites and of course a show tune or two, EGMC celebrated the names of those loved, lost or loathed; from Abba to Blondie, Donald to Valerie. The concert supported Waverley Care; Scotland’s leading charity for the care and support of people living with HIV or Hepatitis C.

Always keen to promote to new audiences, EGMC secured a spot on Janice Forsyth's excellent Culture Studio show on BBC Radio Scotland today.
