  • Ho! Ho! Ho!

In late July, on one of the hotest days of the year, the EGMC boys sang for a Christmas in July event at the DoubleTree by Hilton! With Christmas songs, tinsel and even Santa we sang a variety of festive songs. The guests were impressed with us and we loved being a part of the event!

If you would like to book us for a Christmas gig get in touch with us and we'll see what we can do!

  • For the first time in EGMC history we performed a matinee and an evening performance of Time, our summer concert! With a good audience at our matinee and a full house at our evening show we sang about minutes, hours, days, and seasons. We even surprised the audience with the time warp, complete with dancers in costume and a pair of gold hot pants!

"You guys were amazing last night with a great selection of song!"

"Twas a fantastic show last night, one of the best."

  • The boys from Edinburgh Gay Men's Chorus took part in Pride Edinburgh 2017! We sang as we marched in the beautiful sun.

At the end of the march we stopped and sang to the crowds performing well known gay anthems and we gave a sneak peak of one of the songs in our summer concert!

We'll definitely be on the march next year!

  • "You guys sounded great!"

"It was such a wonderful performance!"

On Saturday the 21st of May we were invited to perform as the grand finale for the Festival of Museums! We sang at the City Arts Centre with a full house and received great feedback. We also sold some more tickets for Time, our summer concert.

Tickets for Time, our summer concert, are available here.

  • Edinburgh Gay Men's Chorus were very proud to sing at the GLITCH Film Festival on the 25th of March. We sang before the showing of Weekends, a documentary that tells the story of G-Voice, Korea's first gay men's chorus.

Here is a link to here G-Voice and Unnie singing The Rose, a song we have sang as well! Who knows, perhaps one we will sing it together! http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=302

  • Last weekend the EGMC boys continued our touring of Scotland with a weekend away at Pitlochry!

Over the weekend we had a day long singing workshop with the fabulous Lisa Lulis who worked with us, developing our skills and teaching us some new ones. We also learned two songs during the weekend!

With Pot-luck suppers, Sherry parties and a walk to the falls of Bruar it was a weekend to remember and we hope to have another weekend away soon!

  • As part of LGBT+ History Month the Secretary of State for Scotland hosted an LGBT+ reception to celebrate leaders in the LGBT+ community, celebrate diversity and tackle prejudice. Edinburgh Gay Men's Chorus were proud to sing at the event to celebrate the work that has been done by LGBT+ organisations.

The event too place the day before ‘Purple Friday’, a day for people across Scotland to show their support for the LGBT community and stand together for equality.

  • The Edinburgh Gay Men's Chorus started our new season with yet another successful open evening on January 10th 2017.

We were excited to welcome back returning members along with a number of new members. During the open evening we sang through a couple of the songs we will be performing at an LGBT+ History Month concert in Fife.

  • Celbrating LGBT+ love the Edinburgh Gay Men's Chorus performed our sell out concert, Love is Love, on Saturday the 3rd of December 2016!

With a mix of everything from A Chorus Line to Kelly Clarkson to ABBA we loved singing to our audience! The fantastic South Wales Gay Men's Chorus joined us for this concert and wowed the audience with their performances. We finished the concert with a joint performance of The Greatest Love of All because if you can't love yourself how in the hell you gonna love yourself!
