One of our own choir members, Derek, got married to his partner Darren in April.
The Edinburgh Gay Men's Chorus were invited to sing at their reception. We were asked to sing a selection of songs, chosen by the happy couple which the guests thoroughly enjoyed. We were delighted to sing at Derek and Darren's wedding, it was a beautiful day and it was an absolute pleasure to sing for Derek and Darren at their wedding.
A massive congratulations to them both! Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your big day!
This Tuesday Edinburgh Gay Men's Chorus said goodbye to out rehearsal venue at Abbey Mount. We rehearsed there for several years, and we were sad to say goodbye as it was filled with many happy memories. Our final rehearsal there was still very upbeat as we worked on songs for a wedding and our summer concert. A number of the choir later went for a drink to mark the occasion.
As a part of LGBT History Month the Edinburgh Gay Men's Chorus were invited to perform at Edinburgh College's event Box Of Delights on Wednesday the 10th of February.
