We were excited to welcome back some returning members along with a number of new members. We rehearsed some of our songs that we regularly perform at events (if you would like us to perform at an event get in touch through our Book Us page). We also started to learn one of our new songs for our Winter Concert that will be on Saturday December 3rd.

We sang along with the Clark Community Choir, Penicuik Community Choir, Sing In The City, Jamie McBride, Rebecca Traynor, Maesteg Gleeman and the Boys Brigade Pipers. The event took place at the Brunton Theatre in Musselburgh and was sold out. • The Edinburgh Gay Men's Chorus celebrated cinema to a sold our audience at the Church Hill Theatre on Saturday the 2nd of July!

We took the audience on a journey with Doris Day and Calamity Jane, the power ballads of the 80's, a Disney medley and just enough jokes to make sure we were rated PG - Pretty great! We were also proud to support Age Scotland at this concert and we raised over £200 for them!

The three groups performed to an audience of over 300 and many people have gotten back to us, the Amber Knights and the Edinburgh Police Choir to tell us that they loved all of the performances.

We were asked to sing a selection of songs, chosen by the happy couple which the guests thoroughly enjoyed. We were delighted to sing at Derek and Darren's wedding, it was a beautiful day and it was an absolute pleasure to sing for Derek and Darren at their wedding.

A massive congratulations to them both! Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your big day!

  • This Tuesday Edinburgh Gay Men's Chorus said goodbye to out rehearsal venue at Abbey Mount. We rehearsed there for several years, and we were sad to say goodbye as it was filled with many happy memories. Our final rehearsal there was still very upbeat as we worked on songs for a wedding and our summer concert. A number of the choir later went for a drink to mark the occasion.
